A disappointment. June 27, 2010 Ivan Perez (Georgia)
This product failed me. After playing my wii through the first charge, I plugged the batteries into the adapters and left them to charge over night. I noticed that they had not charged since my remotes would not turn on. I was very upset, but I did not contact the seller since I did not find it worth my time. I spent 4 dollars less than what I paid for these for rechargeable batteries at the store with lifetime warranty. Do not purchase and look else where.
best rechargable wiimote betteries I've owend June 13, 2010 Fredin J. Pallikal (MD USA) I concurently own a pair NiCad batteries that I bought from BB&B that uses a charging station--these suck. They started out great but 2 months later one of them lasts less than an hour and both lose charge quickly even when you aren't using them. Now onto the one that is being sold here. So far I really like these from Amazon since I can charge the batteries without having to use my controller with it (I've been using my computer to charge them). I also cut a small hole in my wii mote's cover so don't have to remove the cover everytime I charge like I had to do for the docking station type since those need the grooves on the sides of the wii mote to be held in place. I read some of the other reviews and in my experience there was no difficulty in removing the batteries (you don't need to remove them to sync you will there is a small hole that you can stick a toothpick or w/e through to push the sync button.) I did play and beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 (just 1 more star to go!) with these batteries and was impressed with the battery life, but didn't actually mark how long they lasted-- I believe even a hard core gamer should be satisfied. I'll update with how long they last the next time I play a game that requires the full function of the Wii mote (rumble, nunchuck, pointer, and motion controls).
works as described June 4, 2010 Tom Morgan I really like this product,it makes the wii motes charging pretty much the same as a six axis ps3 controllers charging method. For anyone who read another review stating they couldn't sync their wii mote withought removing the battery, there is a small hole that provides access to the sync button via a toothpic or similar sized object, so dr moms review is mute, and comical even. lovin this charger.
Good secondary/back-up June 4, 2010 K. Barton These controller batteries are a simple solution for reusable wii remote batteries, however, after owning them for about a week, I have noted that they do not stay charged long enough. Perhaps they do work for the full 8-hour description (I've never gotten out my stopwatch to check), but I find myself running out of charge constantly. Also, they will not tell you the remaining charge level when you push the "home" button for remote settings--they always say they are fully charged until they are not. One nice feature though is that they charge via usb, so I can hook them into my PC. I'm in the market again for new remote batteries again and will probably just use these as backups or for when my friends come over.
controllers May 27, 2010 cavs not sure how long were getting out of one charge, so far pretty happy still testing
