Piece of crap September 1, 2010 B. Martin (Austin, TX USA) This charger is a piece of junk. Do not buy it. After 2 months 2 of the battery packs no longer took a charge, and guess what, after 30 days it is unreturnable. Find something else, anything else.
amazing product August 4, 2010 Robert S Aguilar This works really well for me. I can put it on the charger and it works, with or without the silicon cover. It chargers pretty fast for me. Really convenient.
So far, so good! July 29, 2010 N. Benjamin (Rose City, MI) It's so nice not to have to go through the batteries like before! I like how you can charge four at a time since there's usually more than one playing. It is a lot more convenient too!
Fantastic charger! Wii is always ready to go! July 22, 2010 Laughin Bones (Wayne NJ) This is a fantastic charger! Our Wii is always ready to go! No need any to remove any straps or jackets from the remotes, just lay them on the charger and they are always charged. Also, provides the added benefit of being able to quickly determine if any remotes are missing. Wonderful!!!
Works Just Fine! May 13, 2010 R. Morris (Southern US) I had a Psyclone version of this charger but it didn't last long, batteries fried. I've never had any dreamgear products, but this unit works great. I've read the other reviews about the red lights blinking, and the "Timer based charging" but I'm not seeing that with my unit. It took a little time for the first charge, but it wasn't a big deal. Once they were charged the lights turned from red to blue. The batteries were warm after the full charge, but not anymore than my Psyclone got. When my Psyclone batteries died they were Hot, not warm. How long do they last? Sorry can't comment, between the PS3, Xbox360, DSi's, Wii, and outdoor activities not one thing gets used long. We are a family of 6, 4 boys, 5 if you include me lol. If the remotes are used and placed back on the charger the red lights come on, it charges, and turn blue when they are done. They don't stay red for hours, just the time they need to charge. If they are fully charged, and you take them off and put them back on, yes the red light turns on, but it turns blue not long after. So as far as timer based set charging times id have to say no. If yours stays red for a long time, and you know it's charged I would say get a replacement, they are man made, things happen. My Psyclone lasted 6 months, hopefully this unit will last longer. So far I'm happy, all the Wii remotes work again :-)
